Welcome to the World Series of Preschool Auctions!

Dear DCP Families,

The DCP Auction is a wonderful tradition, and we are excited as we plan this year's event at the home of the National League Pennant winning Colorado Rockies. Join us for this grand slam event at Coors Field's Mountain Ranch Club on Saturday, April 19, 2008. This is an incredible venue with food, drink and fun. It promises to be a great evening!

The Auction has a tradition of being the biggest night of the school year, both socially and financially, for DCP. It is the premier fundraising event for our children's school. This year's home run goal is to raise $40,000+, which represents approximately 85% of our school's fundraising budget. Your generosity and support is what helps pay our teachers & staff, buy books & art materials, keeps the lights on and helps keep our tuition reasonably priced. With your support, we will hit a grand slam by reaching our fundraising goal and having a great time doing so!

The Auction Committee is trying new things this year. Our goal is to make it easy and as fun as possible for each family to make their required donation to the Auction. Do you like procuring items to donate? Great! You have that choice. Would you rather simply write a check, give a bottle of wine for the Wine Cellar, and be done? That's great, too! You can. Do you have a creative side, and would prefer to offer a unique experience to one lucky Auction bidder? That's a way you may donate, as well!

The Auction Committee is encouraging each family to donate in whichever way that enables you to give the best and most valuable donation you are comfortable to make. Our goal is to have fewer, but more high quality items at the Auction this year. Auction guests will be less overwhelmed by the number of choices, and have more time to bid on the items they really want to win. Of course, there will still be opportunities to bid on items at all different price-levels.

We're making it easy on you by providing a checklist of what you need to do to fulfill your commitment to the Auction's success. Just see the enclosed Auction Checklist, select the way you wish to donate, submit your donation(s) & forms along with a bottle of wine for the Wine Cellar, and get ready for a fun night!
