DCP is pleased to provide an Extended Day Program and a "Lunch Bunch" program.
The Extended Day program takes place in the afternoon from 3:00 pm-3:30 pm. It is supervised child care at DCP.
Interested families must complete an application. Families will be selected based upon the highest need for this service (i.e.. older sibling school pick up conflicts, dual parent work schedules, etc.). Jamie Whetstone, DCP's Director, selects the families from the applications submitted and assigns permanent slots.
Children must be 3 or older and potty trained. DCP staff and/or parent volunteers supervise the program. The cost of this program, per child, is $7.00 per day.
Lunch Bunch ProgramThe Lunch Bunch program takes place from 11:30 am-12:30 pm. Like the Extended Day program, Lunch Bunch gives children the opportunity to socialize with children from other classes.
Lunch Bunch begins the second week of school and is open to children 3 and older and potty trained. Children bring their lunch and are assigned to a Lunch Bunch teacher. Parents must sign up their children in advance for the program. Half of the spots are reserved for morning classes and the other half is available for afternoon classes.
The cost of Lunch Bunch is $7.00 per day. Parents purchase a Lunch Bunch punch card for $35 for 5 Lunch Bunch attendances.
